Awesome, everything is slowly getting into place for my Earth Home, the way we see it we have about 10 years before we are looking at the possibility, so all this tech needs to come to fruition by then (this includes the building industry understanding it all). Fingers crossed, I mean, solar panel that works at night, that is just unreasonable, i'd love to see a science teacher explain to their kids what a solar panel does, and then the kid produce this. :-)80% Efficient Solar Panel?! First album to be registered under creative commons, among other things. Ultimately allowing free downloads, and personal sharing. But royalties, such as for editing, films, public performance, money should be paid to the artist. This sounds awesome, of course enforcement may be an issue, but we shall see.
The music is quite good too, reminiscent of Bjorks artier projects (as opposed to THAT song, god I hate it).

This is getting towards a phone, that I actually wouldn't mind buying. Usually I find them overpriced and pointless, but this ability to read so readily is awesome, if it can also connect to google reader/gears then I would be in heaven, I could use it as my own personal newspaper, and check me emails etc. When it gets into color and does video, this could call into question the iPod in the tech geek/management end of their sales.

TEDtalks: an inspirational conference held once a year, where people go up and talk on their specialist subject. Usually fascinating and inciteful. Videos are free to watch online.
JJAbrams: Director/creator of lost, also directed MI3, cloverfield, and the upcoming star wars film.
Worth a watch, if for nothing other than his unopened mystery box! Fascinating especially when you consider all the cloverfield shenanigans and all.

This sounds really interesting, synching online, computers, and phones together. At the moment I believe you have to use their webspace, it would be good if you can use this to synch up to your own ftp server, rather than having to rely on the same company, as switching services could be made more complicated.

I have just come across this browser called flock, and it seems to be aimed at the social web user. This is such as facebook, flickr, delicious etc... It looks very nice, and is easy to interact with, I am very tempted to use it for personal surfing, and firefox for work.
I am currently testing the blogging tool built into flock, so if this works, excellent, it makes social webbing a little bit easier, the only thing it doesn't seem to encompass is IM, but then i'm not sure this is wanted in a browser really.
Please do take a look, it might not be for everyone, but for others, it may be a welcome relief, and a bit more fun!

Cool idea with the simply animated text (just using a couple of colors it looks like). Although it does seem to slow up my firefox a bit, it's still worth a look.

An awesome idea of giving stickers and sending people off to use them on the world, take a look at the images, get some stickers, and put them on the rubbish you find most offensive in your supermarket.
