Virgin Galactic launch 'eve'

Well I am now torn in two directions.  I am currently reading Asimovs robot stories, and as ever, his visions about the future and space travel are amazing, and I would love to be around as that all begins one day.  But at the same time, I wonder at exactly how much damage to that same future each flight is causing.
It's a conundrum that it is.

Is it Tron, is it a Dyson, no, it's a car!

Okay, for thoise wondering, this is a car not a dyson, its an electric car aimed at solving issues of space when parked, it neatly folds iself up.  I have no idea what happends if it does this and someone is still inside, or can you drive it whilst in that position?

Either way, it looks sporty, and clean (in more ways than one).

DEFENDER of the favicon

I bizarre, impossible to play little game.  Simple keys to use ( N to start a game or shoot, and arrow keys to move) the game is in the url favicon, but you can hit enter to show it on  the page.  Neat idea, can't help think it could have been a bit more playable though.

Music Video: Biggest Regret

This is an interesting video, the creator googled real-life regrets, and put the results into this video.  Some thoughts are funny (2:34) others are quite heartfelt and sad.

Dont be fooled by ecogeek posers

There are many out there pretending to seel green products, so what we need is an art project that shows aesthetically green prodcuts with ones that really are good for the world.  Hang on a minute, here's one that does just that.

streetartlocator.com

An interesting little site, that allows everyone to add street art onto a worldwide google map, sadly not a lot around my area, but I think this is a new site.  So please add any pieces that you think are noteworthy and interest you.

Anti-terror Assault Vehicles...

Or Segways as some of you know them.  I know this is old news but it is still pretty crazy.  Chines forces are planning on using them during the games to patrol and keep everything running smoothly.  I am not sure how much it will help, but I look forward to seeing it on the BBC this summer.  All these athletes running around, and then these police that cant be arsed to walk a normal beat... lazy buggers.

The Lawn Zombie

If only I had a garden, I would plant some nice shrubs, sweet smelling hyacinth, and maybe a lawn zombie too.  Excellent sculpture, and only $90, so about £60, NICE!

Adobe Makes Flash Searchable

Okay, i'm pretty sure not many web geeks (other than those I work with) read my blog, but still.  This could be big, although in all likelihood, it'll end up as another function that makes the web more hackable, and flash more advertisement based.  Ltes wait and see

Steampunk Icons

Amongst my silent love for steampunk I have been made aware of these really nice (and simple) icons.  It's great to see how they weren't over complicated which could easily happen, particular with the subject matter.  Now I only need a site to use them on.

Alice Chess Set

This is just another of those chess sets I really want to own.  At first glance, it looks like a regular chess-set, but it is based on 'Alice through the Looking glass', on how when alice goes through the mirror, she becomes a chess piece, this is expressed by the way that the pieces, when off the board look solid, and the mirror is shown, but as they entire the game, they become a chess piece, showing the transition.

This is a great idea, and I really like it, I believe it was a college project, so not for sale, but if it is, I would be interested in owning this piece of cool.

Nintendo Wall Decals

This is just awesome, whatisblik have created these lovely wall stickers based around various nintendo console games.  Of course your wall should be blue, to match the game, but I suppose white would be allowed if you don't have enough light in your room!

I love this idea, turn the whole wall into a mario level, I want this for my home office (whenever I eventually get one).
