And the kitchen sink...
Look at this awesome sink, it's designed to be shaped like an ammonite, and the water trickles down by gravity, although I could see a potential issue with food getting stuck to it a little bit. But tbh, if you clean when you use, then all is well, and you'll have the coolest sink in your street, now what could be more important?!?Concrete Washbasin from HighTech - Ammonite washbasin shaped as a fossil | Trendir
10 optical illusions in 2 minutes
10 optical illusions in 2 minutes, some are a little weak, but several are wicked (including the classic dinosaur face that follow you round the room). Apparently this was done as a phone advert for Samsung, but forget that part, just watch the cool stuff.

Nomad System (24 Module Pack) - Accessories - MIO
If I had a room that needed dividers (say a large office to be divided into two) I would definately use this. They are card pieces that slot into one another to create walls, these could then be constantly moved, and rooms reshaped for every purpose. Although, how stable are they if the windows open and a gust of air comes through, hmm, I am not so sure.Nomad System (24 Module Pack) - Accessories - MIO
Steampunk underground
Apparently this station actually exists, and is located below a Paris museum dedicated to victorian and industrial art/history. Now, I went to art a few weeks ago, and am gutted that I didn't go to see this, it is definately going on my list for when I next visit the city, sadly, I doubt the cogs in the ceiling move, and move things above ground, but still, it looks truly awesome.Brass Goggles » Blog Archive » Steampunk On One’s Commute
Sinful Wine Glasses
This is an absolutely awesome collection of wine glasses, if I had these I would drink more wine for sure. They are each based on one of the 7 deadly sins, and they are awesome, some are cool and usuable, others need to hang, or are full of holes.Deadly Glasses 2
Please get me them somebody!

A musical rollercoaster ride
An awesome little video, not sure if it musically acurate, but hell, it still looks pretty cool.

The birth cycle of a chick
Good for schools, this shows how the chick grows outside of the yolk, and consumes it as it grows, not pretty to look at, but true. The Birth of a Chicken | haha.nu - a lifestyle blogzine

Wind powered Dubai block
More architectural wonders from the world of eco living. This massive building is being built in Dubai, and each floor rotates indipendantly of the others. In between each floor is a set wind turbine, allowing this building to not only power itself, but many more things aswell. I'm not quite there with understanding kwh, but the building is expected to produce approx 1,200,000kwh.
Now, I am not sure how much will be spare. But to put into perspective, the average london home uses under 600kwh a month, so that is 7200kwh a year. This means that the building creates enough energy for approx 166 london homes, I dare say a large amount of this will be used by itself, but that is an incredible number to be throwing about, hopefully this catches on to other designs in this world (and maybe the UK government will stop preaching, and start doing something big, incredible, and inspiring about this issue).
Warhammer, but better!
I am now soo temptied to learn how to play every night, just so I can go into games workshop, and kick everyones asses with cute kitties, oh the hilarity, and the shame they would feel, their tears, so tasty.Hello Kitty comes to Warhammer 40K with the Sisters of Battle - Boing Boing
70 Amazing Business Cards - Fubiz™
I am in the process of trying to sort out business cards (trying to decide on whether to go down the moocards route due to budget), and one of my friends put me onto this site of business card designs, some are ingenious in shape and material, others (as below) just look really nice, but use a standard shape, maybe this is the route I should be taking, center my content, and see what happens, I think I may end up sending off and getting several designs back, and let them do the talking, seeing if and where I get the work from.70 Amazing Business Cards - Fubiz™
Good old trial and error market research can you expect better. Although, if anyone knows of a good card company that aren't over priced, I may be interested, i'll design, just need the printing on the cards done.

SimplePie: Super-fast, easy-to-use, RSS and Atom feed parsing in PHP.
I have spent ages trying to parse my feedburner feed onto my website, it has been driving me mad. I found magpie and others to be too bloated and complex, then I came across simple pie, oh my, they arent lyine, it is simple. I am now very happy, and my blog on my site is now search engine friendly, I just need to make an archive page using it (is that even possible?!?).SimplePie: Super-fast, easy-to-use, RSS and Atom feed parsing in PHP.

Japan Postal goes electric
Awesome news, this may sound like just a small little idea, but with 21000 postal vehicles in Japan planning to go electric, this will make electric points in fuel stations much more economically viable, and if more of them appear, then more people will get the electric vehicles. This could be the big instigater Japan needs to really go to town, being the amount of car manufacturers over there, this could be BIG!Japan Looking To Go Green With Electric Postal Cars | EcoGeek

New electric motorbike design
I just love this new bike, it makes me very happy when a design works, and at the same time, absolutely ignores convention. I can just imagine the conversation:Uno Does A Number on Motorcycles | EcoGeek
Down the Rose and Crown
Hey man, you ever wondered what would happen if strange things had children
You mean like a segway and a motorcycle
yeah, but that would be crazy, wouldn't it?
Look at it, it takes up so little space, it's electric, and futuristic, which is always good. I do get sick of seeing all the identically base design on motorcycles, I can understand it on racers, as they are honed to race, but a road bike has so much more breadth for design possibilities depending on lifestyle. This would be a great runaround bike, popping into town and back. I really would love one, and they don't sound too pricey (in comparison) $8000. But then, i'm not sure about top speeds, or road worthiness.

Matchbook Signlanguage Alphabet
This is a really nice piece, simple idea, and surprisingly realistic finger effect by the matches, it's as though they have nail varnish, sweet. I just wish I knew signlanguage, so could write random things using these. Maybe an idea for a new clock?!?American Sign Language Matchbooks | xoxo -- c 7 11 23 -- JK Keller
